Yes, it's true, it really is the BEST...and these are just a few of the many reasons why!Pancakes, flapjacks, whatever you want to call them, they are cooked to perfection and stacked!With Sausage? Sure! (Not 2, not 3, but 4 sausage)There is no skimping here whatsoever!Jimmy's is generous and obviously loves serving up breakfast to every customer who enters.It's comfort food, a reliably good breakfast you can count on!..Sandwiches, and takeout too!There's a very relaxing, humble, at home kind of comfort in this nostalgic 50's era diner. Great place for breakfast.I stopped by recently, as I was driving down Victoria, and remembered that this place was recommended by one of my co-workers who used to frequent this place some decades ago.I was not disappointed ... clean, fast service (I had to share a table with an older gentleman, as the place was packed ... that's how popular this place with regulars!) Typical breakfast fare was actually pretty good, eggs with potatoes, a pile of thick bacon, and very good coffee. And very reasonable prices (cash only), and they are only open for breakfast and lunch.Lots of parking out back, and deceivingly roomy inside, the decor is a reflection of the history of this diner. Do yourself a favour, stop by and eat at a place where your parents, maybe even your grand-parents ate.

The service is always great, the coffee is fresh and hot. Basic breakfast options but good food! The atmosphere and design is cool. Happy to have discovered this gem in my neighbourhood.

This place is a gem in the city. The menu is simple and the food is well done. The interior sets you back in time while you sip on something hot and simply enjoy. I appreciate that it’s filled with regulars who come here often. It’s a community on its own.NOTE: this place is Cash only.

Clean, Comfy, Warm.Usually the tables and menus at diners are greasy and gross.At Jimmy's, they are spic and span, like the rest of the place.It has a feel of a diner from many decades ago. The staff is friendly and the old school decor and counter are brilliant.The food is delicious and priced much more efficiently than any diner in the region. I got a basic breakfast and the eggs were perfect. The beans were a nice touch. The home fries could have used a touch more frying and some paprika and salt and pepper, but still delicious. Coffee was really good, not like other diners where coffee might taste like dirty dish water.I love it here and I will be back.Keep up the great work.

I was there again in June 2022 two times, I had an egg omelet with ham in it, home fries a side of bacon fresh coffee. Lisa looked after us like a king what a very nostalgic spot, i’ve been here a number of times my daughter turned me onto the spot just a good East Coast style breakfast a working man’s breakfast. Bring cash they don’t do credit cards or debit cards #OldSchool

I miss this place so much. It is the best breakfast place I’ve have ever went to. Use to go there everytime I went to Kitchener with my last job. Sadly I haven’t been there for awhile now. Think I need to take a road trip, lol. Everyone should experience this phenomenal restaurant
